COOL BREEZE
This Green Econo is hands down my all time favorite Econoline ever. I can't believe I've never posted it on the blog before. I ran across this pic again tonight after not having seen it in years. It's crazy how close my van is to it as far as parts. I have the rack as well and a Travel Scoop. (Yes, I know his is probably a super scoop.)
If anyone has any pics or mags they can scan and send me, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I'm dying to see more shots of it. I'm sure there had to be a feature on it somewhere.

Born Free 4 Part 4
Lane and I had the most amazing time this past weekend out to CA
for Born Free 4. We finally got to spend some quality time with the
club. This pic pretty much sums up the whole crazy trip.
I finally got to hang with Andrew... and holy shit he's a good dude. So much fun to be around and every bit as crazy as he looks! I think I spent the majority of my time there with him, listening in amazement to all the insane adventures he gets himself into. He's so intense and so mellow... and all wrapped up into this hairy, hug-able, monchichi doll like package. Thank you man, for making sure we had a place to stay and for all the organizing you did. I so look forward to spending more time with you in person, but until then I'll settle for our late night text fests!
Jason wasn't around as much as I'd have liked, I guess he was working the show or something? I dunno, sounds like a pretty lame excuse to go to bed early to me... but we did get to spend a good couple of hours talking life and love, art, machines, you name it. I swear we did, I can't say I remember a whole bunch of it but I'm sure it was pretty intense, and I'm sure most of it was repeated the next day! As always Jay, I can't thank you enough for making me feel at home and for letting me be a part of such an awesome club. You're an amazingly talented guy and some one I've always admired.
Then there was the new guy... Ben. Yea, the one with the Stabbin' Cabin? I guess he's been a hang-around or whatever for forever and finally figured out a way to weasel himself into the fold. I think he's been following Andrew around for a while now running errands and cleaning and cooking and stuff... haha, seriously though, I don't know what took him so long to join but it's about damned time! Welcome brother. Thank you for all the amazing eats, the hospitality, and for making us just slow down and enjoy ourselves. You have a love for life that is contagious beyond words, everything and everyone you're around is caught up in that. You make the world a better place for sure man.

Thank you all so much for
inviting us down and giving us a home away from home. Even though it was
too short, it was beyond amazing. You guys are truly the best!
Here are a few more pics from the trip... in no real order, because I'm still trying to figure out in my head what really happened.

Born Free Part 3
As a new member of the Vandoleros van club one of the perks is being able to post on our blog! So the following post is my first and I am proud to say it's a great one. Having hung out and cruised with the club for the last year or so, Born Free allowed us to all come together and bond as a club! Meeting the guys from Utah and partying together was surreal! I'm extremely proud to be a member of a club full of creative artists, talented craftsmen and all around some of coolest MFers! So the following pictures were taken in a drunken stupor at our camp spot starting Friday afternoon and all the way through Sunday morning! Enjoy!

Throttle Merchants
Matt and Aileen came by the house last week and shot some pics of me and the family. If you haven't seen their work be sure to check out their site. They are great photographers and are passionate about everything car and bike related. Super nice couple and I'm proud to now call them friends. I'm honored to be a part of the upcoming issue. They made me look cooler than I actually am! Thanks again you guys!

Born Free Part 2
Man, I don't even know where to start. We had such an amazing weekend partying and camping and the show etc. Ben is really the man for getting everything together and I can't thank him enough. He made so much amazing food and is such a great dude to have around I'm so proud to have him as part of the club. I just can't say enough good things about him and everyone who came out. Everyone from Utah coming out really made us feel whole again as a club and I wish I could move to Utah just to be around them more. Dan Collins and Jeff Holt were there as well but weren't able to get together outside of the show. It's always great to see them. Matt unfortunately is in Europe with the van so we missed having him around. It's been a busy and loose knit year for us and I think the van community has lost some faith in us as a club, but this weekend really got us back on track and our bond as friends and club mates is as tight as ever.
As far as the show, I was super stoked to meet Joseph Tyrone Collins from Wheels of Confusion http://wheels-of-confusion.com/. Cool dude! Matt Grayson stopped by for awhile as well and his new van mag is gonna be ripping! We'll be touching on that topic real soon. I was also stoked to have finally met Todd Asin form Small city Cycles http://smallcitycyclesstore.com/, Lucas Joiner from Factory Metal Works http://www.thefactorymetalworks.com/, bike artist Gorgeous George http://www.gorgeousgeorgeart.com/, Matt and Aileen from Throttle Merchants http://throttlemerchantsphoto.blogspot.com/, Jordan from The Horse Magazine and so many other great people. My head is still reeling from everything and I know I'm forgetting a bunch of people. There were tons of vans around the area for the show which was awesome to see. Fuck the car guys who don't dig the van scene, it's alive and well with bikers.
I wish I took more pics but I suck at photography and get real lazy when it comes to taking pics. Andrew nailed it though and obviously has a killer eye for composition in his photos. Thanks so much for everyone who supported the club over the weekend. I can't wait to see Ben's pics so stay tuned boppers!

Born Free 4
This weekend Born Free 4 was mind-blowing, and riding there through the canyons was truly surreal. But the true fun was camping with all the Vandolero brothers. I got to finally meet our Utah chapter and can honestly say those are some of the greatest dudes I've ever partied with. They made a three day haul without missing a beat. Thanks again to our newest member Ben aka Stabbin Cabin for the majestic food and hospitality ("HELICOPTER!"). And for everyone else who partied and got wasted. Here's some pictures I took this week, sorry some where with my phone and I just had way to much fun to take more or care.
BORN FREE STREET SCENE
These are not members but some cool vans I saw this weekend.
This van had even me a little scared. And I like that.
Don't Care, but if you did you wouldn't need to do a thing.
This master piece was inside Born Free. If the owner can read please contact us.
These where our friendly neighbors.
